Setting permissions
In the context of a ASETPay, permission levels refer to different levels of access and control that are granted to users of the gateway. These permission levels determine the actions that users are al
Permission levels
ASETPay are interfaces that allow users to transact with various blockchain networks and their associated digital assets. ASETPay often has different permission levels depending on what the user can do. Here are some common permission levels found in ASETPay :
View-only
This permission level allows a user to view information about the blockchain network and its associated digital assets, but they cannot perform any actions such as sending or receiving funds.
Send-only
Users with this permission level can send digital assets from their wallets to other addresses, but they cannot receive any digital assets.
Receive-only
Users with this permission level can receive digital assets to their wallets, but they cannot send any digital assets.
Send-Receive
This is the most common permission level and allows users to both send and receive digital assets.
Admin
This permission level is typically reserved for administrators or owners of the ASETPay, and it allows them to manage the settings and configuration of the ASETPay, as well as perform all other actions.
Smart contract access
This permission level is specifically for users who want to interact with smart contracts on a blockchain network. It allows users to deploy and execute smart contracts, as well as access and modify contract data.
API Access
API Access allows users to transaction with ASETPay through an API, which enables them to perform transactions or retrieve information programmatically. This permission level is usually reserved for developers or advanced users who are creating custom integrations with the ASETPay.
It's important for ASETPay to clearly define and implement permission levels to ensure the security and integrity of the platform, and to prevent unauthorized access and actions.
